Recently, I promised you I would soon bring some old recipes for boosting immunity … not any, these are recipes from my grandmother or our grandmothers that made them from what they had, knowing how good they were doing to our health. My Grandmother’s Recipes For Boosting Immunity

My Grandmother's Recipes For Boosting Immunity

Boosting Immunity Is Very Important To Our Health

In these modern times, much is left to be forgotten, and so are the recipes for boosting immunity. We have turned to buy finished immunity-boosting products and spending a fortune on them. It is as if we have forgotten to do our best and prepare our children something homemade, yet proven. Not just the kids, us too. And the real truth is that most of the so-called Modern expensive immunity enhancers, which are very expensive, are based on old, proven recipes.

I was little and can’t remember the ingredients of the recipes that brought me back to life after a sick illness. What I do remember, though, is their taste. I know I was frowning and complaining, but knowing how much they help me, I didn’t worry much. I would act like a cat, but I would swallow what was offered …

The recipes mostly consisted of what was available in the countryside, but at the same time, it was a real elixir and a winning combination for our health. If my mother hadn’t preserved them, I wouldn’t be writing this today. Thanks to both my grandmother and my mother for that. My son has many health problems and very often needs something that will strengthen him and help him quickly and naturally. Staying in a community, kindergarten, school, very often puts his immunity to the exam, and then a fight ensues… Changing our lifestyles, diet and making home-made preparations have become our daily routine.

Eggs (Eggshell) Is Great For Boosting Immunity

The shell is full of calcium, which has so many benefits for us – it affects the immune cells of our body, creates bone mass, stimulates the bone marrow to produce blood cells, prevents osteoporosis, does good to our nerves and muscles, regulates the work of our heart, enables blood clotting and helps sleep sound. Egg husks have about 90% calcium and are the best source of this valuable mineral. It must be easily absorbed because, in its composition, the eggshell is almost identical in composition to that in our bones and teeth, which is great. The eggshell also contains iron, copper, manganese, zinc, fluorine, phosphorus, chromium, molybdenum.

Here’s a recipe for strengthening:

  1. 6 eggshells (homemade!)
  2. Four liters of water
  3. One lemon juice

Preparation and use:

  1. Wash, grind and place eggs in water.
  2. Store the water thus obtained in the refrigerator for one week and use instead of drinking water.
  3. Take at least three to four glasses a day.

Could it be simpler 🙂

Garlic And Honey For Boosting Immunity

I think we have all heard many times about the benefits of honey and garlic, and this is precisely the winning combination of another preparation for strengthening our body.  They are called natural antibiotics. Our old ones like to say that honey and garlic rise from the dead! 🙂 Because they’re put together in this recipe, which may not be very tasty, but it’s very healthy.

Garlic

Garlic is a real small nutrient mine. It contains vitamin C, B6, selenium, magnesium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, flavonoids … And allicin is one of those substances that is a true exterminator of bacteria, viruses and even fungi. Garlic is great for our defense system. No matter what it smells like and it is not convenient to consume, it needs to find a way to bring it into regular use. When it comes to colds, he has the power to make a miracle! Its active ingredients help the health of our liver, heart, and also help to calm inflammatory processes in the body. Some research puts it on the list of foods that are great for fighting cancer.

Honey

Honey is rightly said to be food and medicine. It is a treasure trove of substances for the healthy functioning of the body. Contains as many as 37 minerals (aluminum, boron, iron, iodine, calcium, silicon, manganese, magnesium, copper, tin, lead, sulfur, chromium, zinc…), almost all amino acids coming from nectar and pollen, numerous vitamins (B1 , B2, B3, B6, B12, S, N, A, K, E, Folic acid), organic acids, aromatic substances. The habit of consuming honey is a habit that can improve our health much faster than most preparations and expensive supplements. It is a powerful antioxidant that helps our body to strengthen.

Here’s a recipe for strengthening:

  1. Smaller garlic head
  2. Weight of honey

Preparation and use:

  1. Peel the onion and grind it
  2. Insert it into a jar of honey and mix well
  3. Combine and use (recommendation is one tablespoon daily for at least seven days)

This recipe is easy too, and you will feel incredible changes in a few days.

I doubt that our grandmothers knew all this information that we know today, but that did not stop them from “knowing”. Sometimes a person has some innate and natural gift and a sense of things. There is no magic wand. There is only our endeavor to protect and promote our health. And mostly we know how it’s just a matter of whether we’re ready for that.

WHO I AM

I’m just another single mother. There are two of them and I call them my kittens. The older kitten is 17 and the younger one is 7 years old.

A few years ago, we went through an extremely difficult journey and learned many lessons.

Some were simple, but most were extremely difficult…
