As if that’s a problem! Count to 10! We should have mastered that simple skill when we were little, very little. Even before we started school. I Know That Sometimes It’s Hard To Count To 10
Who would have thought then that we would have to re-learn it so many times? Believe me, I did not completely master it till the end of myself. But what end? But I truly want it. Because before and after counting you don’t feel the same. Before counting, you feel like an over-cooker, and later all you feel is ease.
Before counting, you just want to say, show, prove, scold, learn wit, swear, punch… When you’re friends with yourself and when it’s your day, then it’s easy. You get frustrated, count your own, you put a smile on your face and move on.
It’s Not Simple
But when you are not quite friends with yourself, then you get upset and forget that counting has ever existed. And then the thing ends who knows how, and strangely enough, but whatever it is you don’t feel right. Either you are under the burden of the unsaid, or you have said too much, or you have gone too far, or you have failed yourself… whatever, but you do not have peace. And peace is very important. Very. To the people.
I know it’s not easy sometimes, I know, because I’ve been taken in so many times. So many times I found more reason to light up like an ember than to remain silent. And then, after all, I loved myself so little. And had that ugly feeling of defeat, even though the situation at the scene sounded like a victory. That could be kind of a sport.
Exercise
You exercise, you exercise, you exercise, and then you look at what exercise has brought you. It will be easier each time. But it’s worth it. And those who are accustomed to you not counting will do everything, will find the most favorable weapon to succeed in it. Because they know you. They know where it hurts. The choice is up to us. Count or explode. And it’s our responsibility. And maybe the guilt…
It’s not always easy, I know. Sometimes you get the feeling that they are lurking and torturing you every step of the way, that they test you, and there are so many of them. Some of the familiar ones, some not, some with a strategy, some without it. I know it all. But, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. And done! You’re calm. Awesome!
Desirable counting places: every possible, with an emphasis on the family home, relatives’ homes, elevators, shops, market, banks, health center, hospital, street… If you don’t forget to count, you shouldn’t be afraid. If you’re human and you want peace. Peace is important to people. Everything else will already come into its place. Count, be silent and say everything by example. Well, that’s priceless.
It is true indeed it is not a hard skill, to count, but it is also true that it can change a life. Something else is true. When the counting exercise takes a swing, the number of situations that require it is somehow reduced. Believe me. Tried it.
Some never count. But the text is not intended for them …
