Horseshoes in pudding colors are a little cookie miracle. Why? Because they are made quickly, they are simple and delicious. Sometimes it only takes a few ingredients that we all mostly have in the house to create real cookie magic for our sense of taste.
Horseshoes In Pudding Colors
Each mother knows that a smile on children’s faces sometimes requires minimal culinary skill, a few ingredients, a little time, and some fun… Sometimes it takes so little. Horseshoes in pudding colors are just such a treat. This is because they contain pudding, of any taste and color. And the other ingredients are the same. Also, they are made quickly and are eaten almost as quickly.
Horseshoes In Pudding Colors
I got this recipe recently from a friend to whom I complained that I had no idea what sweet I could make for the kids because I don’t have the ingredients for a “real” cake. Of course, that was the first time I made horseshoes in pudding colors, and since then I have repeated it with more flavors (vanilla, chocolate, caramel, raspberry, orange etc.). Also, I liked all the variations, but my kids choose chocolate. Again, the most common horseshoes in pudding colors are yellow, so with vanilla pudding powder. It doesn’t have to mean anything to you, because you will make it with the taste you like the most.
Feel Free To Change Them As Desired
By the way, I’m a big freelancer in the kitchen and I don’t like strictly given recipes. I like those that allow you a little inspiration, personal stamp, and creativity. These cookies are just like that. You can let your imagination run wild, change, add or subtract something, and in the end enjoy our sense of taste again. Whenever I make something simple and quick, I like to improvise and add or subtract something by feeling.
And Kids Can Make Them (With Our Help)
The good thing is that the kids also like to join me, and then there is a “circus” in the kitchen, but I don’t regret it. Sometimes I let them make horseshoes themselves, and I just give instructions, supervise, evaluate. It hasn’t happened yet that they did something wrong… I want to say that we ate them every time, even when they didn’t turn out perfectly.
Enjoy! ?
If you like this recipe, share it with your friends and (..of course..) pin it for later. ?
It is easiest to combine all the ingredients with a mixer, you can then finish the dough by hand. Then divide it into 4 equal parts, roll into rolls about 2 cm thick and chop to about 1.5 cm. After that, gently roll each piece and shape it into a horseshoe. Arrange the horseshoes in a baking tray lined with baking paper and that’s it. Finally, they go in an oven preheated to 180 ° C and bake for about 10 to 12 minutes. And finally - enjoyment! Put the flour in one plastic bowl, then add the other ingredients and knead the dough. Horseshoe dough in pudding colors will be the color of the pudding you use. It will also be suitable for rolling and shaping. Then divide the dough into 4 parts. From the dough, form a roll about 2 cm thick. Cut equal pieces about 1.5 cm long. If you want bigger horseshoes, it’s simple, make thicker rollers or longer pieces. Roll out each piece of dough again lightly (preferably in your hand) into a rolling pin and fold into a horseshoe. For this measure and method of preparation, two large baking trays lined with baking paper are required. Finally, preheat the oven to 180 ° C and arrange the horseshoes in a baking tray. After that bake them for only 10-12 minutes, as it is best to keep them light in color. Leave the cookies to cool a bit in the pan, then sprinkle with powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Horseshoes in pudding colors are great both hot and cold. If you are preparing them for later or the next day, store them in a tin box. You can also keep them in the fridge. You can use any pudding for these cookies, they'll have a beautiful color and your favorite flavor. I tried a few flavors and colors. Everything is great for me, but the kids choose chocolate. The most important thing is that the dough is soft and not sticky so that the horseshoes are made as easy as possible. You can do it as it's written in the recipe, and you can also tear off the balls and shape them one by one. I sometimes do that too, instead of making rollers and chopping equal parts. Be careful not to overcook, so stay close. They are most beautiful when they stay bright. Then the taste is most complete. And one more thing, if the dough turns out too soft, feel free to add a little flour. And if it’s too dry, just add a little more milk. I usually put one whole egg, because I don't like to have egg whites left unless I plan to make egg whites afterward. There is no big difference.Horseshoes In Pudding Colors
